The Way of Relic : Squier '51 Project

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part-1: upgrade the Squier logo

Since the original plain black logo looks so cheap and unattractive, I've decided to modify it by putting a decal film while keeping the original logo intact.

  So, basically, I made a decal like this;

Since the brown "Squier" part is a little bit smaller and thinner than
the original black logo, you can see the black "around" the brown.

(As you can see, I've already started some relic work)

It might look too dark on your computer monitor...

looks better now?

Here are what I've used for this project;

Ink jet Decal paper : Micromarks
Printer : ALPS MD-5000

(it is necessary to print "white" Squier image under the brown Squier. Otherwise it won't work.)

Why I didn't put a fake Fender logo like some people are doing?
Well, there were two reasons.

#1. Because I wanted  to avoid any legal issues.

#2. I wanted to show my respect to the Squier name after reading this article;

..... but am I the only person in the world who spent
more than a week to modify a Squier logo?
