Yeah, Agathis is inexpensive so they can build it as
a 3 piece and still be cost effective. This wood has rather an ugly
grain texture so most people would want to cover it up with paint or
laminate, but comparing it to Basswood, it looks more like Alder so
I think I can live with it.
